It's the only dish I serve my craziness for color in.

Josef Albers
About This Quote

I am a very passionate person, and I like to express my emotions in the form of food. When I cook, it’s not just about what I put on the plate, but how I put it there. It takes a lot of time and energy to make something like the eggplant dish my grandmother used to make. So many ingredients have to be prepared, and so much time is spent making sure everything is perfect.

But when I eat it, it doesn’t matter how long it took to make or how many ingredients it has. All that matters is that my grandma is with me as I eat my only dish that expresses only joy and happiness.
